Dear Diary,
Today in class Bob passed me a note that said "I like you, do you like me?" and it had checkboxes for "Yes" and "No".
I thought it was so cute and so corny that I giggled out loud a little. I was just about to check the "Yes" box when I saw the teacher Mr. Smith looking at me. :( He said in his booming voice "Calista, would you like to share with the class what you find so humorous?". I said "No, sir." He told me to bring my notes to him at the front of the classroom. I looked down as I walked, but I still saw Bob covering his face with his hands and I knew that he was just as embarrassed as I was. As I walked, I kept saying over and over in my head "Please don't read the note out loud! Please don't read the note out loud!" Well Mr. Smith read the note out loud. Then he explained to the class that we are not to pass notes to one another while class is in session.
I walked back to my seat as my classmates giggled. Needless to say, I was teased all day, mainly by Kana and Briana Joy. They kept telling me that I need a cell phone, and I agree! If I had a cell, then Bob would've been able to text me and this never would have happened! I'm going to beg my parents for a cell until they finally see things my way.
This is such a cute story. It brings back memories.
ReplyDeletePoor Calista and Bob - how embarassing! But I suppose Mr. Smith has to conduct a class so ....
ReplyDeleteOh no! How embarrassing! The cell phone thing is too fun, but unfortunately Calista, no cell phones in class!
ReplyDeleteThat really brings back memories. I see that some things haven't changed in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous diary entry! I love these!
ReplyDeletePoor Calista! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Do you think that Calista has learned her lesson? :)
