Man Hands

When I first started collecting female action figures, it took me a little while to get used to their hands, which are quite a bit larger than the hands on the fashion dolls that I had been collecting. Their larger hands are really quite useful though.

A Different Look

You know, it's important for a girl to have choices. Who wants to be stuck with the same look all the time? That's why upon Clawdeen's arrival, she immediately started looking around for others that she could share with.
Clawdeen can not fit Lollipop Gils Bebe's boots, nor can she fit Winx Club Layla's shoes. Bebe can wear Clawdeen's boots.

Clawdeen can wear Jakks Pacific Lola's shoes. Lola can not wear Clawdeen's boots.

Here is Clawdeen with her new look. Her hands and her forearms come off to make it easier to redress her. They come off extremely easily. They come off when I don't want them to come off. On the other hand, her head is very securely attached to her body. I want to take her head off, but I've been unsuccessful.

Here are my dolls that are skinny enough to share clothes with Clawdeen. They can all wear the same skirts. Clawdeen and Layla can wear the same tops (the lengths will vary on them obviously). Juku Couture Kana can wear Clawdeen's jacket once I remove her hands (Clawdeen and Kana can not swap hands, in case you were wondering). Clawdeen can wear some of Hottiez Kiara's jeans, depending on the length.

Clawdeen is having fun and making friends in her new home.

Clawdeen Wolf

After seeing Clawdeen Wolf's unique body and articulation, I decided that I wanted to add her to my collection. I also like her clothes and accessories.

Calista's Diary Entry - Spring Snow

Dear Diary,

This was the first weekend of Spring and it snowed pretty heavily all weekend. This weather has been kind of weird if you ask me.

I just wish that it would keep snowing so that school will be cancelled on Monday!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Calista's Diary Entry - V-Day

Dear Diary,

It seems like these past few months have passed by so quickly. I guess it's because I kept pretty busy during the holiday season. I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Years, MLK Day, etc. with my family. For Valentine's day, I wanted to hang out with my friends (especially one friend in particular). I went to a party for Valentine's Day and I had a great time! Bob gave me a big hug. I had a good good night (I had a feeling that I would).

Calista's Diary Entry - Sweet Homecoming

Dear Diary,

Bob asked me to dance at the Homecoming Dance. I said yes!!! We danced to a beautiful slow song. My heart was beating so hard and so fast. He told me that I looked beautiful! :-))))))) I keep thinking about it... I keep replaying it over and over again in my head.

It was a good night.

Calista's Diary Entry - The Dance

Dear Diary,

Kana has been sick with the flu. Thursday after school she called me and asked me to do her a big favor. She asked me if I would go to the Homecoming Dance with Dave since she would not be able to make it. I said no at first. She said "Please Calista, I'm too sick to beg. Dave has already bought his suit and everything!" I said "Dave is wearing a suit? I've got to see this!". So I asked my parents if I could go. They said that since they know Dave's parents from church and since this is a chaperoned event, I could go. So I called Kana and let her know. She said "Do me one more favor okay?" so I said "What?" She said "Have fun. Have fun enough for the both of us!"

So then I had to figure out what I was going to wear. My mom told me that she has a dress that might look good on me. She brought the dress out and I fell in love with it. She said that the dress is probably a little mature for me, but I didn't think so. When I put it on, I felt like a movie star! My mom had to make some alterations to the dress, but that didn't take long.

Friday night my mom helped me with my hair and my nails, and I put on my dress and it fit perfectly. I felt so pretty! When Dave came to the door to pick me up, his jaw dropped. Dave's dad drove us to the dance and picked us up afterwards.

When Mikey saw us at the dance, he said to Dave "I thought you were bringing Kana?" and Dave said "You know she's been sick" and Mikey said "So you two coming here together was a last minute thing?" and Dave said "Yes." Mikey turned to me and said "Calista it's a good thing that you're not wearing pants because they would have burst into flames." Nobody laughed. I don't think that they got it but I got it. Mikey was calling me a liar right to my face. I wasn't about to let him ruin my night though, so I just ignored him.

I thought that Dave looked kind of cute in his suit.

Skipper looked amazing and made a great Homecoming Queen.

Bob was looking quite cozy with Hadley and Isla.

Bob even danced with Skipper.

I tried not to focus too much on him though. I just wanted to enjoy myself with my friends.

Something pretty major happened at the dance last night. I'll write about that later.
