Dolls At Work

Here are the dolls that keep me company while I'm at work.  I'm in a cubicle, so I chose dolls that I would not be in tears about if they came up missing from my desk.  I'd be a little upset, but I would not cry.  :)

Do you keep any dolls at your place of employment?

  1. It's good you can have a few dolls to keep you company at work. Have any of your coworkers purchased dolls for you?

    1. Thanks Debbie! My coworkers have not bought me dolls, but a couple of the dolls pictured were gifts.

  2. Awww, so sweet! No, I don't have any dolls at work. I do take them on occasion to show them new dolls. Cute post!

  3. When we had more space I would bring in dolls to hang out. Now that we're in smaller spaces I may try bringing in a Kelly or 2. I may try to bring in 1 or 2 of the fashion dolls after we get settled :O)

  4. I work from home so my dolls are everywhere. I have some that I let little girls play if their mums bring them when they are being fitted (I'm a professional dressmaker) and I find that makes the whole process easier for everyone.

    1. Oh how luck for the little girls that they get to play with dolls while being fitted for pretty dresses! It's cool that your dolls can serve a dual purpose.

  5. I always wanted a doll at my workplace but I was in a staid environment and couldn't do it. I think yours make your cubicle a friendlier, happier place.

    1. Thank you Roville! I enjoy having these dolls at work. And it's good for the dolls, because if they were at home they would hardly ever see the light of day (these are not dolls that I would typically display at home).

  7. OOOh yes, my desk is covered in dolls... probably dolls that are more expensive than I should leave at work... but gah, I just can't resist, and I've been here 6 years with no problems, so *crosses fingers*

    I've got

Barbies: Klimt, Mona Lisa, Katniss, Dorothy (the kinda slutty one -_-) and The Wicked Witch (the vintage style one with flying monkeys on her dress)

4 Misaki and 1 Blythe, the Skeleton girl Monster High doll, as well as a Monster High Rochelle I repainted, 2 custom Obitsu girls (one is a "mini-me" LOL) and one Novi Star...

Not to mention figma, Nendoroids and Pinky St figures.

I also usually have a doll (or 2 or 3 or 4) that travels with me from home. Today it's My Melody Barbie (the host of my blog, Christie), Hot Toys Black Widow, Azone Pure Neemo Forest Girl Himeno and Azone Pure Neemo Forest Girl Miu

...uhm, yes... dolls at work, hehehehe!

    1. Heather - wow you've got quite a collection there at work! So far, no one has bothered my dolls (my office supplies, well that's another story... grrrr...). I've been thinking about taking some more Barbies to work, and maybe a Kenya/Barbie hybrid or 2. I used to take my Calista doll with me when traveling, but now that she has a new articulated body, I wouldn't feel comfortable stuffing her in my purse. I might have to pick a new traveling buddy.
