Phicen Asian Male Seamless Figure

I purchased the Phicen male Asian figure (M32), and it arrived today.

I knew that the box contained my Phicen because it was kinda heavy, as I expected that it would be for a figure with a stainless steel skeleton.

He came with 3 sets of hands, a pair of yellow trunks, a Bruce Lee head, and 3 penises in various states of arousal. I had to heat his hands and his head a little in order to attach them to the body.

Here is a closeup of the head sculpt.

I am extremely impressed with this figure. He poses so well and is very realistic. He feels sturdy. I am concerned that his soft "skin" will suffer wear and tear as time goes on. In the meantime, he looks great!

All of my Phicen ladies came out to greet him.

One Phicen lady in particular really caught his attention. He balances extremely well, and is able to hold and balance with this Phicen with no problem.

They are getting to know one another better.

A challenger emerges. Martial Arts Morpheus has entered the ring.

Martial Arts Morpheus receives a kick that sends him reeling.

The match has quickly ended. The two will spar again another day.

Overall, I'm extremely pleased with this figure. It is attractive and realistic. The only thing that looks a little bit off to me is his abs, which don't look symmetrical. I really like this sculpt.

Here is my deboxing video and review of this figure.

Weekend Hang TJ

Well, it's a happy day for Kenya.  Her boyfriend TJ has arrived!

Weekend Hang TJ is part of the Kenya Fashion Madness line of dolls.  He comes with an olive colored warm up suit with a jacket that zips up the front, black undershirt, sunglasses, and sneakers.  Here he is out of the box.

He has a large head like his girlfriend Kenya.  He is handsome and has a nice smile.  Here is a close-up.

Kenya and TJ are thrilled to see each other again.  TJ remarks that Kenya has lost weight since the last time he saw her (Kenya has been rebodied on a model muse Barbie body).

Keyshia is also glad to see TJ. Kenya, Keyshia, and TJ are pictured below.

Here is TJ with some of my other male dolls.  They are from left to right:  Flavas Tre, Texas A&M Male Cheerleader, TJ, My Scene Sutton, and Fashion Royalty Darius Reid.

Below, TJ is pictured without his jacket.  His black shirt has velcro closures in the back.

He has been working out!  TJ is pictured below in Ken's boxer shorts.  He has articulation at the elbows, wrists, and knees.  He has flat feet and he can stand without assistance.  He's a little bowlegged.

Here he is seated.

Ken fashions are a little tight on TJ.  The shorts that TJ is wearing below will not completely close in the back.  TJ and Ken can share shoes.

TJ also looks good in action figure apparel.  Below, he is wearing GI Joe's shirt and some action figure jeans.

TJ's suit fits my Heroik Muscle Body figure Terry pretty well.  Even though the suit is a little short on Terry, TJ almost did not get his suit back.  I may end up giving this suit to Terry since he has such a hard time finding clothing.  I can easily find TJ something else to wear.  I hope that the company comes out with fashion packs for TJ and Dwayne.

All of my Kenya dolls, Keyshia, and TJ came with this Proud 2BU Lifestyle Guide, which I never bothered to debox until now.  I'm glad I did, because I am glad to see that this book is full of positive and inspiring messages for kids.

I feel good about supporting a company that has such a positive message for kids.

Excerpt from the guide:
"Project Pride is big and it's for everyone! Pride has no barriers: it's being cool with our differences and enjoying the ways we are alike. Pride honors heritage and respects our world. Join us as we rally with kids everywhere to show pride in our unique backgrounds and cultures, our families and communities, and especially ourselves!"
My overall impression of the doll is that he is a good buy for the money.  I don't usually care much for big-headed dolls, but I like TJ just the way he is.  I want to find an articulated version of his cousin Dwayne next.

JLS Marvin

My teen girls are very thankful for this recent arrival.  Ever since reading D7ana's blog post about the JLS dolls, I have been wanting them.  But the shipping charges to have them shipped from Great Britain were cost prohibitive.  Until now (for Marvin).  There is currently a seller on eBay who is selling Marvin for a very reasonable price and only $6 to ship from Great Britain to the United States.  I hope that some of Marvin's band members will be able to join him here soon (for cheap).

Here is Marvin still in his box.

And here he is out of the box.

Here is a close-up of Marvin.  I thought about Squarepeg78 and smiled when I inspected Marvin because not only is he showing teeth, but he has indentations so that you can see each individual tooth.  For anyone who is creeped out by dolls with teeth, be forewarned and do not enlarge the photo below.  Marvin's lips are nearly as red as his shirt.

Marvin is wearing a red hooded top, khaki pants, some grayish short boots, a brown belt, and a green wrist band.  I like that his belt is removable.  The clothing is good quality and well stitched.  His feet are about the same size as Ken's and they can share shoes.

Marvin is 30cm tall.  Here is a height comparison with other teen male dolls.  From left to right, here are American Teen Benjamin, High School Musical Zeke, Marvin, S Club 7 Bradley McIntosh, and Flavas Tre.

Marvin immediately started looking around for pretty girls and found Lena, but he's a little too short and too young for her taste.  She said that they can just be friends.

That's okay, the guys know plenty of girls that they can introduce to Marvin.  Here are some of the group enjoying some day-after-Thanksgiving snacks (I guess they already ate the turkey sandwiches).  Marvin's knees do not bend, so he has trouble sitting down.

Here's a closer look at Marvin's body.  Let's see, how can I put this delicately...  Marvin has a little something extra.  Not much, but enough that he stands apart from my female dolls (and the vast majority of my male dolls).  Other than that, there are no surprises here.  Marvin can stand on his own.  He has no articulation at the elbows or knees.  His arms and legs move forward and backward only.  His head moves side to side.

Here's a side view.

Marvin convinced me to finally open my Justin Bieber fashion pack.

The fashion pack contains a hoodie, a pair of jeans, shoes, sunglasses, and a laptop.  The quality of the clothes and shoes is really good.  The sunglasses are okay, but don't look right on Marvin.  I like Marvin in his Justin Bieber clothes better than I like him in his own clothes.

I really like the laptop.  My teens will have a good time using this.

My overall impression of Marvin is that he is a good sturdy doll that can withstand child's play, and he is good for collectors as well.  I am happy to have another ethnic teen male doll in my collection.  I wish that he had more articulation, and that his lips were less red.

He is a nice addition to my collection.

He Needed It More

My Hot Toys TrueType Slim AA figure (or Terrence, as I like to call him) needed the Ken fashion pack more than Steven.

The clothes and the shoes are tight, but I don't mind.

Here's a group shot of some of my action guys.
