Bratz Boyz Clothes

I may not care much for the Bratz Boyz dolls, but I sure do like their clothes!  I am so happy that Dylan and friendz have so many options available, because that means that my boy dolls have the same options!

Here are some photos of some of my boys in Bratz Boyz fashions.  From left to right:  Play Sportz Dylan in his original outfit, Clawd Wolf wearing Bratz Boyz pants (way too short) and jacket, HSM Chad in Bratz Boyz shirt (pants will not fit), Bob Scout, Dave Cub Scout, Todd Brown, and Harry Potter.

Bratz Boyz clothes are also good for my little men (especially the ones that play young boys in my stories).  Pictured below from left to right:  "Deon" (Lil' Penny), Heroes in Action Barack Obama, Playmates Toys Michel Jackson (who really strenuously disagrees to being placed in these clothes), Space Jam Michael Jordan Tee Time, and my little chubby guy.

Sometimes my teen girls find the Bratz Boyz clothes useful, also.  From left to right:  Skipper, Flavas Kiyoni Brown, HSM Sharpay, Calista, Hispanic everGirl, Wee Three Friends Janet, and Flavas Tika.

Have you found any other good clothing lines for your 'tween and teen boys?

bs0039 Action Figure Body

I ordered a bs0039 action figure body and I like it a lot.

The body comes with 2 types of neck connectors, thicker thighs, and the hands come with extra wrist pins! I haven't tried snapping on the bigger thighs.  I guess I'll save that for a rainy day.

My Headplay Michael Jordan has found a new home on this new body, and he's looking good.  And with the extra neck connector, I was able to finally give Tariq from Integrity Toys the articulated body he's always dreamed of having.

Here's a quick height comparison.

From left to right, here's a Blue Box body, TTL, bs0039, Triad Omega, and DiD.  The bs0039 is taller than all of the others except for Triad Omega.  The body is slightly shorter, but broader than the Triad Omega.

MJ can finally hold his head up high.

Edit:  These dolls are made to be comparable to Hot Toys bodies, so I'm adding a couple of comparison photos with my Hot Toys TrueType figures.

The articulation is very similar.  The quality of the bs0039 body is not as high as Hot Toys, but I think that it is a good inexpensive alternative.

8" Barack Obama Figure

Heroes in Action has produced a very nice 8 inch fully posable Barack Obama figure. I ordered one and it arrived yesterday.

This figure has a pretty good resemblance to President Obama. The suit is well made and uses Velcro closures. The suit jacket has a lining on the inside. The suit and shoes are removable.

I am very pleased with the articulation of this figure. His head and arms rotate, his waist swivels, his arms rotate at the bicep, he has jointed elbows and wrists, he is jointed at the hips, his legs rotate at the upper thigh, he has double jointed knees, and he has jointed ankles.

The only flaw that I see is that the paint comes off of the wrist joint. It is minor and barely noticeable.

Here is the Heroes in Action figure next to my 12" DiD Barack Obama figure.
