Football Fever

Are you ready for some FOOTBALLLLLLLL?  I don't personally care much for it, but football season is a huge deal at my place of employment.  So, I thought I'd grab a couple of my dolls at work and get them in on the action.

One of my co-workers bought a football helmet standing tracker set similar to this one, and I borrowed some helmets.  They are a good fit for most 1/6 males.
I'm sure that a lot of my action figure guys (and probably some of my action figure ladies) wish that I could bring these home for them to wear.

Here are my guys having football fun around my job site.

My dolls at work are fine, but they don't really look like football players to me.  So here's a bonus shot of one of my action figures at home.

  1. You must work at a really fun place! I am not into football either but it is fun to watch those who are.
Now I have a question...why you keeping the hunk at home???? huh? LOL!

    1. Hi the grandmommy - my job can be fun at times. Football season is a huge deal for the company, so they really go all out to get the employees excited and pumped up. I don't feel particularly pumped up, but I do think that the decorations are fun.

  2. Hello from Spain: in my country football is one of the most famous sports. In my office all the guys talk about the players and their sports activities. I like your dolls sporting outfit. Keep in touch

    1. Thank you, Marta! Football is a very big deal here, also. My husband really enjoys watching the game. I've tried to be more of an enthusiast, but at this point I kind of give up. Watching football on television is just not for me. I used to enjoy watching games in person, though, in high school and college. I imagine that I could get more excited about a game if I was watching it in person.

  3. Your workplace looks like a lot of fun and your dolls must have enjoyed this. I just enjoy the way every country uses the word 'football' and means an entirely different game.

    1. Thanks Carrickters! I should have specified in my title "North American Football" or "Gridiron Football". My workplace has a lot of fun activities this time of year. Right now there's fantasy football and football decorating contests going on. I'm really looking forward to Halloween, though. The Halloween activities amuse me a lot more than the Football activities. :)

  5. This was a fun post. I like the helmets. Sometimes you can find them in bubble gum machines in stores. Toys R Us had them once upon a time.

    1. Thanks Georgia Girl! I should probably watch the bubble gum machines for other 1/6 scale goodies.

  6. Football makes me sad, lol.

Like you, I have no interest in this sport. My eyes glaze over when someone talks to me about it. But I enjoy seeing your dolls and action figures dressed for football play.

Somewhere I have playscale helmets. I should pass them on to someone else. Shrug.

I LOVE Halloween, though. Looking forward to that.

    1. D7ana, it makes you sad? LOL It doesn't make me sad, I'm just indifferent I suppose. I guess I get a little sad that I have to wait until a commercial break to talk to my husband on certain days and at certain times. :)
